- Absolutely refrain from manipulation or high pressure sales tactics.
- Accurately answer all medical questions on application for optimum underwriting.
- Consult with each applicant to determine the appropriate benefit plan.
- Adhere to all national and state legislation concerning the sale of policies.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of Federal and state tax incentives for insurance plans.
- Provide excellent service after the sale (ex: coverage questions, upgrades, billing and claims questions, etc.)
- Replace or upgrade existing policies only when it is in the policyholder's best interest.
- Make sure new coverage is in effect before canceling the old policy.
